In 2010, Liz began her MBA at Chicago Booth. She was a weekend program student, which meant that she commuted every Saturday to Chicago from Indianapolis to take her classes. On one of these Saturday morning drives, she found herself in a car with a group of male Booth students. The conversation turned to how much these men hated shopping. The chief complaint of these dapper dudes? Not finding the right fit. The light bulb went off in Liz's head at that moment and she knew there had to be better way to quickly match men with their ideal pair of jeans.

Our fearless leader is also a huge math nerd----in the following weeks, Liz burned the midnight oil and developed an Excel spreadsheet that cross-referenced a huge variety of men's denim brands and fits. She stalked her male classmates and bribed them to accompany her to retail stores to try on pair after pair of jeans. The woman breathed denim for two years!

From her denim obsession, ZipFit was born, a technology that matches men to their ideal pair of jeans based on their size and specific fit preferences...and to do it all quickly and without the hassle of a trying on a stack of 20 pairs!

The ZipFit flagship store opened on Michigan Avenue in October 2012. The sales staff shares Liz's vision and loves nothing more than seeing a man with a wry smile on his face as he comes out of the dressing room, rocking a great pair of jeans.
